Your Music. Your Direction.
a passion for music - staying connected to pop culture - customizing a playlist in real time for each event.
“My objective is to create the perfect circumstance and condition for great dance events. An exceptional dance floor environment does not have to be a rare and unusual instance. Nothing makes me happier than pairing up the perfect DJ with a bride and groom for their wedding reception. I have hired DJs based on their passion for DJing, their love of music and a drive to be... better.”
Bill Spindler, President
Double Platinum DJ
The one key element that makes Double Platinum an industry leader and separates us from our competitors is our DJs.
Double Platinum sets a high performance standard to ensure that all of our DJs are flexible, experienced, and customer-focused. Our small DJ family consists of individuals with a diverse and creative blend of skills. Some of our DJs spin in popular night clubs, others are trained from the ground up by DP veterans. Our DJ talent has breadth and depth, but one thing remains consistent - the ability to deliver a party you will never forget.
Your vision is our main consideration when planning begins. When approaching each event, we always keep an open mind, because we understand that all of our customers are complex and every crowd is different. The reason we consistently deliver memorable performances is because we listen, react and adapt.
Double Platinum utilizes a personalized song book for your wedding. It is fully customizable - from the music to the timeline of events. Our music list is regularly updated as pop music is released. Double Platinum’s song book offers a more personable planning process than standard online web account music planning systems.
Extensive Music Library
Our current collection includes 100,000+ songs and 40,000+ music videos. If there is a song you or your guests would like to hear, chances are we have it. If not, we have the ability to download any song instantly at your reception.
Your DJ will “filter” music requests from your guests at the event, meaning they will take all requests into consideration, but only play the songs that they believe will work based on the crowd and the bride & groom’s requests. Alternatively, you can have your DJ take NO guest requests . The DJ would then kindly let any guests know that they are not taking requests that evening.
